Welcome to Nice Ash, your premier cigar shop and lounge nestled in the heart of the Houston Heights. Founded in August 2023 by three lifelong friends—Jon, Brian, and Colin—who bonded over their shared love for cigars and Texas A&M pride, we set out to create a space that feels like home.
The Nice Ash Story
Our story began on a memorable night filled with cigars and whiskey when Jon famously remarked, "That's a nice ash," sparking the idea for our lounge’s name. In the cigar community, "nice ash" is a common phrase used to compliment the structure of a cigar. We embraced this playful spirit, incorporating a donkey into our logo as a fun nod to the double meaning of "ash" and "ass." Additionally, we included a small "12" in the design to honor our Aggie roots—the "12th Man" is a beloved Texas A&M tradition symbolizing the spirit and support of our fanbase.
